nolanator
yea i know this is the second thread on this, but the first one i had i put up some misinformation, so i had a few questions.i just got this in the mail.and thankfully it is not nearly as big as i thought it was (ps. mucho mango = awesome)both the compressor and the turbine are A/R .60 what turbine size could i actually switch to (it's a T4 now, it would obviously be switched to T3 to run an internal wastegate) if i wanted to hypothetically use something like this, or is it just too damn big.btw i'm 90% sure i'm just going to end up selling it in the end, but the info would be very helpful

Chances are that it's a 50, 57, or 60 trim T04E... In that case, you're going to probably want a stage 3 wheel with either a .48 or .63 T3 turbine housing and 5-bolt outlet.Or the Turbonetics equivalents... http://www.turboneticsinc.com/products/ind...;category_id=36 Turbine wheelAnd http://www.turboneticsinc.com/products/ind...;category_id=40 Turbine housingsYou're at $500 there though. I don't know the Garrett part numbers, maybe someone does... I'd guess probably $400 new though. Alternately, you could pick up a used crap E-bay China T3/T4 turbo, and pirate the turbine housing and wheel, send it off to be assembled and re-balanced and come out with a nice turbo for not too much extra. GeraldJ
Stop buying random turbos and just buy what you need. In the end you will be much happier and spent a lot less money.Call up turbonetics and just order the t3/t04e-50 with a .48 stage 3, 5 bolt. Then call atp and get the uiwg. When your done you have spent about $900 and then your done with it. All you need then is a custom downpipe and some oil/water fittings. Unless your going with rods and pistons in your motor then go a little bigger on the t04e side. something like a 60 trim would be nice at 20+psi :D
