Che'_Moderator
On the day the liquidation was announced a few employees spent most of the day crying, these were mostly people who had worked there for most of their adult life.Well theres the problem. Overpriced merchandise and complete failure to adapt to a changing market place also didn't help. BTW. I went in here too buy some memory cards today. At 10% off they were only double what egghead sells them for. Cannot believe their going out of business.

Owned
You work at Circuit City, get the fuck over it. It's a dime a dozen, meaningless job. How about you take it as a good kick in the ass and do something with yourself? Or you could just walk next door to McDonalds and make the same money. :monkey:
cheapwagon
I doubt the management jobs are a dime a dozen.

Boost3237
ya about 4 yrs ago when I worked for them and they did their "Generation C" crap I knew they were done, GAWD that was a nightmare, changing everything every day, new displays, new ways to force sales on customers blah blah blah it was horrible, The worst part was being made a show pony for all the corporate retards who came around and fired you if you breathed wrong.... CCity was awsome before all that crap it was a shame they did not grasp the concept of a changing market and really did nothing to adapt to the needs/ wants of their customer base. I only feel sorry for a few of my old managers because they are great people and I know one of them is expecting a son any day now, I just hope they can find work easy enough.
