Spring Fix-it Meet ?

I have a 25mm rear sway on it's way so I will either have a full set of ipd sways for sale or just the rear from the kit.

Air pump delete eh? I might just join you on that one and live with the CEL or just unplug the damn light. Sure would make the OBX instal easier.

I have the springs and shock swap down to a science so I am game to help with your car.

When and where are we doing the first one?

Anyone know where we could rent a garage for a day? Hoists would be a bonus...

Craig mentioned that there is a garage in Windsor that you can rent out for cheap...maybe he can chime in? I know that's a bit far for the Toronto guys but it's closer for all of us on this side of the border...

count me in too!

install bilsteins and spring, shifter bushings, weld shifter bracket, new shifter ball and clamp, properly seat window control, change or refinish wood trim, condition seats, build inner door panel protectors, cap, rotor, baro sensor, fix cruise control, replace airbox cover, air pump delete, silicone vac lines, PCV service, mount OBX, fix AC leak or delete AC, fuel filter, cabin filter, serp belt tensioner, finish rebuilding turbo and install, replace brake booster line, do smoke test, new antenna, make custom rear anti-sway bar

thats all for right now, the list of stuff already done is even longer!

my cars gonna have the most complete stage 0 by the time i'm done with everything :D

I really need to do those too my shifter has not been seated for over a year since i did the swap! i was thinking about making some kind of bracket to hold it in like another member did because i could not get that stupid plastic piece seated no matter what i did.

Anybody want to help me polish my tail lights? :D I've got a few things in mind for my wagon too. In addition to the tail lights, I'd like to maybe make a cove base lip and maybe paint the non reflective parts of my headlights. lol

It'd be great to meet you guys before going to Carlisle too :).

Yeah, I mentioned that garage. The place is actually a dyno shop, which is run by these two guys. They said that they'd rent out the garage for $15/hr and that's along with all of the tools they have. They also said they'd possibly help out if they're around.

My old one was 22 or 23. Whatever the reg IPD one is. I think it was almost perfect. You drove it so you should have a good idea how good it felt. Just had to go a bit bigger though cause I think I can use all the understeer fighting powers I can get. My car is going to get as much track / autocross use as I can make time for this summer. Unless I can figure out a cheap way to make it RWD then I am just going to try and stiffen the rear as much as I can.

what is the place called?

I forget the name, but I have the contact info of the owner.

Does the garage have a lift? Space to work on how many cars at once? I would be willing to part with at least a couple of hours worth of loot at those prices. I just wish it was closer.

Yes, the garage has one lift. There's space for one car on the lift and possibly a car in the garage w/o a lift. There's also space outside of the garage for those who'd jack up a car.
