jnderr
Looks pretty clean. If you do go the e30 route a forum I really liked is e30tech.com. The 318 is a little down on power, but hey would be a cool turbo project, people have gotten upwards of 300hp out of the M10 that the 84 318 has. Swap in an e36 steering rack, Z3 short shift kit, get the rear subframe from a 325 to convert the drums to disc brakes and an LSD from a 5 series good times.Sounds like a fun project. USMC850T
Drifting? Get a spec miata, or SRF, or formula 500, or a formula Vee and go racing. All are RWD, shit tons of fun, and will probably cost the same as buying an RWD car and spending the money to prep it for drifting.

General Disarray
If you can find a 240 that doesn't have cancer or the drift tax I'd say go that route. I didn't really find any good local corrollas on my search a couple years ago.I kinda think the bmw, although very awesome, would get a little expensive. If you get an auto 240sx it's cheaper and less beatso car $1500-2500trans swap $500RS*R bushing kit $160Coilovers and other suspension related stuff $1000-2000VLSD $100-200or a good clutch type $400-800or cheap weldedI'm a little iffy on doing a KAT though, I haven't heard too many good stories, and for me the power I wanted, could be obtained cheaper and more reliably out of an RB25but, an LS7 Miata would be a godly project
