bshinn
Got some rain last night & the pass floorboard is soaked. Looks like it's coming from under the dash by the a-pillar. Pulled the trim under the glovebox & could'nt see anything. Yanked the cowl off @ the base of the windshield, & there was water puddled around the intake for the hvac fan. Is this a common leak on these cars? I pulled the plastic "shroud" for lack of a better term off, & there was a gasket that appeared to be a little worn. Ran a bead of clear silicone on the gasket & reinstalled it.I presume the sunroof drains come down the a-pillar, but the sunroof was dry. Anyone else run into this? Thanks
MrWinkey
Were the drains clear on the plastic cowl cover? Also were the drains clear in the cowl itself(under the plastic cover?)

MrWinkey
So the drains in the cowl(under the plastic cover) were clear! Are you sure? Pull the cowl cover off and dump water down them. Either that or you got 4" of rain in 1hr. Seriously sounds like a drain issue and doubt it's the sunroof drains. ;)
