Guest Guest_whe6311_* Posted March 9, 2009 Report Share Posted March 9, 2009 HiMy S70's ABS and Check Brake warning light triggered ON.At same time, I can feel that the car hesitate to move and sluggish for a few moments.When the warning lights went OFF, the car back to normal, can drive smoothly.Do ABS failure & brake circuit problem directly affect engine performance? And if it is the module, which is pretty hard to tell from the OPs description, but I'm reading in to it that it might be, then a rebuilt ABS module for around $150 or less is the ticket, not a new one for 4x the amount. Would definitely like to see the DTC printout though. Make sure you tell them not to erase anything and that you don't want it diagnosed, just the print outs. Lots of dealerships have people who have no idea what they're doing when it comes to CAN diagnostics... so tehy erase the codes and say ---no fault found and print off the erased sheet So get a print out and post it and maybe we can be of more assistance.
