Waxed 850

Since the R is under the knife I'll be driving my 850 to the TX spring break meet next week. Because of this I decided to give it a good 3 step wax job with my porter cable, a few touch ups, and update the grille a bit. Sooooooo glad I did, it was starting to look really neglected since I haven't done much with it now that I just let my mom drive it. Sorry for the drive way pics...ran out of daylight.

Not bad for a 15 year old car that I only have a few grand in.

Wheels are off the V70R. I run whatever I have sitting around with good tires on it.

Rain diverters: Cost $$$ to replace. This car cost me $26, yes that's right $26. I kinda dig um anyways.

Grille...I like it so meh.

Spoiler is a late '93-early'94 spoiler I found NOS on here a few years back. This car is a dec '93 build date. Early turbo car. Was the GMs demo at Roger Beasley Volvo in austin. Has a nice wood kit in the interior and the black leather is mint. Interior pics later.

Bumper paint: Just gets chipped anyways and you guessed it....costs money.

The entire point of this car is to be cheap as possible, unless it has to do with the mechanical reliability of the car it's done on the cheap. I had a bunch of stuff on it that has since been sold. I have basically nothing in it and I gave it to my mom when we sold the diesel 245. All it has now are SS lines, IPD bars, QBM end links, EST intake (for sale), NA cams, silicone lines, tons of stage 0.....and that's about it. It's a 10 footer...looks great from 10 feet but up close has imperfections.

It's got black crystal head lights and corners now. Pretty simple truck and I did most of the mods under warranty when I worked at ford LOL. With the v6 and limited slip 4.10 gears it runs out pretty good till about 110 then aerodynamics take over. It's as loaded as you can get a regular cab ranger- two tone leather, leather steering wheel, pw/pl/ps/pm/tilt/cruise/mp3 cd/etc. Been a great truck. Bought it new in '05. Zero issues and I'm about to turn 50K miles and the BFGs still look like new.
