pfeener
I have a 98 S70 GLT and I'm getting ready to drain and change the coolant. I looked at the drain plug in the radiator and it doesn't look obvious as to how it comes loose. I also have read a couple of posts about people breaking them off. Are there any tricks to getting the drain plug loose? PB Blaster help at all. What size socket does it take?

Pauloil
if you look at the drain plug, the inside is a hex put an allen wrench in there andturn it.the engine drain is 13mm on my 99XChope that helps you.I found taking the fill cap off after i opened the engine cock nad the radiator drain resulted in less coolant getting on me.
