Matts 850 GLT
Okay.so before I pull my head off can someone tell me if this amount of oil is normal/acceptable or are there serious issues with my motor?ThanksMatt
StylinMotors
Some oil is normal, but it should not be leaking out. Chances are you need to flush your intercooler. There is a plug on the bottom similar to a radiato plug. unhook all the hoses, remove the plug and flush with lots of good degreasing soap and water. You might want to do the same with all the hoses and pipes. This should help. Maybe look at new hoses as well.
CO.T5M
i would also check your PTC inlet on the intake hose and make sure that its not clogged and also make sure the turbo is not leaking. i had the same problem and it was the turbo. Yellow95
From your pic, I would say dont worry about it at all. Looks like every other 10+ year old volvo stock hoses I have seen. If it bothers you, get the stylin kit. Those hoses look a little long in the tooth.Gary
