JehovArob
Wait. So, are those Evolve cars cars that will be decently produced and people can buy here, or are they just cars with which they are showing how nice they can make look for a car show? Matchbox22
Yes, it's about time for Volvo to step up it's performance game. Think about it they we ahead of the game ten years ago w/the t5-R 240? h.p. but failed to increase on that when the competition got tough. Also Volvo sort of out class themselves like w/the current R! Whoes it competitionnot the Bmw-M3-333, not the Audi S4-340h.p so is the rivalry not the 300h.p Sti or the Evo 271h.p in the 30k class. Either they are too expensive for one class$40k or under the $50k cars like the M3,AudiS4. well I know it a bit off topic but I hope Volvo can find the real power not like a la Ford w/the Cobra lost power? Do you think the big blue got something to do w/this?

ZTY S70
The S40 ... man, has Evolve really changed the game. No more Volvo enthusiasts who state light bulbs on their modifications lists - or DIY home pundits who think spraying color on their brake calipers is a modification.Anyways, the S40 has 19x11 and a sick negative camber ... 11 inches wide is impressive show and go. I cannot stress to you - once you go 19" and then 11" wide, you are in a club that few ever reach. It takes serious modification to the fender well and the suspension to fit these. To back up the go, Evolve replaced the factory suspension with F1 units. That's MODIFICATION.
SpongeMonster
OMG how did I not see these sooner? Volvo has gone nutso and I'm lovin it. Too bad I'll probably never be able to afford one unless some long lost relative leaves me a whackload of money or I do something good with my education. It is hard to believe that these cars are real but I so desperately want them to be.James

Hell I can cut the floor pan out of a car and build you a 1000hp rwd tubbed s40 too?what does evolve has that will do any of us any good? Nothing. Why 19X11 on the rear of a mostly FWD car. 19X11 hell I can squeeze under the rear of a 240 with some simple modifications and a SHORT/SMALL tire. Wooo oh boy loads of negative camber... nothing like wearing through a 400 dollar pair of tires every 6 months brilliance in design once again.Oh ya did I mention the Evolve S40 has stock internals and no tuning? Jamaica2G
I think he's bitter that they have put these things out for glamour and fashion w/o the CORE to back it up.no, I think he's quite bitter. Maybe Evolve should link up with VMS and make a monster motor. hehehe, am I putting ideas in people's heads? (ROB jeje) and come up with a way to adjust the power distribution through the wheels instead of having the computer compensate AFTER wheels start slipping.Adrian
