yes, i checked the polarity of both the solenoid and stock wiring (which as stated above is blue). man, i was gonna say 'oh well' and just figure it was the whole bcs thing like lucky had stated about the iPd testing and just solder the stock solenoid back in, but you guys all have me thinkin.. i dont really know what to do.. if anything were wrong, wouldnt the car throw a CEL? as far as polarity, i thought it didnt matter in the first place?

yes, i know its stamped on there and im correct... i was under the impression it didnt matter in the first place? the car IS boosting... its just boosting under what it used to? not spooling up to 15psi off the line and loosing traction like it used to... it will spike up to 15 @ higher speeds when i WOT and it down shifts, but doesnt hold.. i guess my problem is that this delco unit basically just isnt doing what its suppose to do - spool quick, and hold? NOT doing it for me

Perhaps this is why IPD won't sell them to us, they had issues in testing with some not all.

Have you inspected the CBV, most likely that 17 spike blew a hole in it, I know mine is leaking, as I have 17psi tune and can only get between 10.5-12psi, with a shift spike of 15-18.

No issues with my Delco unit what so ever...I too followed the break in procedure to the "T". Couldn't even imagine returning to the stock unit now.

so the delco didnt work for you either Hoosier? you just put the stock solenoid back on and went to a MBC and called it a day? i really hate to go back since i'd spliced into the stock harness, but if it's gotta be done, it's gotta be done... as said after my OP, 'if it aint broke...'

I beieve the MBC will replace the stock selenoid. Did in other apps. I did, but not sure. Guess I will be going this route as well.

Guess I'll be having a valve and pigtails up for sale.

I will take it

I need somethign to replace my stock one so it doesnt keep shutting me off at 22psi since its not hooked up and just hanging out in the engine bay.

drives me nuts get on the boost and get a p234 code wich is BS

p.s. EVL WAGN - you have a V70, which we already know is the best candidate for the delco unit... i wouldn't expect you to have any issues - it's the T-5R guys/850T i was hoping to hear some feedback from..

Ahhh coolness...sorry bro.
