7 VII 7
Don't get me wrong, I'm totally happy! I however have never driven a Volvo AWD vehicle so it wouldn't be "night and day." Jesus christ guys I didn't notice it until now because I've had absolutely no reason until now to look under the car and have just trusted that since it was sold as an AWD car that it WOULD be an AWD car. I don't beat the shit out of it like I did my S70 and I frankly don't know even half the shit on it like I did my S70. I take it in for service and even oil changes because I don't even want to take the chance of voiding the warranty. Things like the down pipe are bolt on and bolt off, so if need be I can just put the old one back on and everyone would be none the wiser.Don't mean to rant but holy shit guys! You would think that since we bought the car from a very reputable dealer I could trust they knew what they were doing. Clearly this is not the case and have learned a life lesson...yet again.you are telling me... you did not look under the car before you bought it? :arob:that is like buying shoes and not trying them on
javadoc
Everyone can get taken at one time or another. A guy I know locally bought his wife an pre-owened XC90 ("T6 AWD" the badges said). I had offered to go with him but he declined. He gets it home and he showed it to me. Under the hood it was very obvious that it was a 5-cyl, and then you look underneath, FWD. Dealer had marketed the car as a T6 AWD, however. Scumbags. He had to take them to court, but did prevail.

BtownVolvo
Emailed my salesman and having him send me a scan of the exact copy of the CPO form. Didn't say anything but that.
(n)A-GAME
From a legal standpoint I'd recommend you put the stock downpipe back on immediately.
BtownVolvo
From a legal standpoint I'd recommend you put the stock downpipe back on immediately. The car is in Florida and the dealership is in Texas. So nothing is happening too terribly soon. But yea if something happens then it'll go back on.And yes Dave, I would have looked under the car if it wasn't 2 years old. If I was looking at an S70 or even an S60 that wasn't CPO, then yes I would have looked under the car.
smokin' T5M
I've never had to look under it! And again I attributed it kinda slipping to shitty Michelin tires. No idea on insurance. This makes me wish I wasn't hurt so we could have caught this sooner possibly. Still chuckling over it though.

Zappo
lol, why notan oil leak is an oil leak and an AWD that is FWD is a messBecause you will never see an oil leak from the dealer. They will clean that shit up with the pressure washer to sell the car.
Volvoson
you are telling me... you did not look under the car before you bought it? :arob:that is like buying shoes and not trying them on3/5 Volvos I've owned were bought sight unseen... ironically, they have been better than the ones I've looked at in person first. If you're purchasing from a dealership, a CPO vehicle, advertised as something, I'd trust them a lot more than a private party selling a "bargain" car... Sure, he could have looked under the car, but if it drove fine and didn't make any weird sounds, he had no reason to think anything was wrong. The car is under warranty after all.I just hope that it states on paper (matching your VIN#) that it's AWD.
