550
Ok I have a pioneer 3500 HU, stock speakers everything sounds fine with me. But I think I lack some bass. So im thinking (SUPER CHEAP) what will work that is really cheap. I just want one smaller sub in the back so i can get some nice bass. Any ideas?By cheap I mean walmart cheap hehThanks
Jamaica2G
I've got a 12 inch 4 ohm single voice coil Solo Baric S12D - the very last production set of the round ones. Better acoustics than the squares if you ask me (I had them both)Holla if you want it - not for free obviously. I've just been slow to put it on ebay - sentimental value. seriously... Give a budget also - that would help define SUPER CHEAP - and dont forget the amp and wiring. I could help you install if its over Christmas break. (even if you dont buy my sub)Adrian
theunderlord
go get the crummmiest most powerful amp you can buy for 50 bucks, a used 10" woofer, build yer own box, install it and your done.
V Tuning 850
Hey I got a JL Audio 300/2 amp, and a JL Audio 12" W3D4 in a ported box. If the deal with this other guy falls through. I will sell the amp, sub and box for $250 + shipping.
Guest 55@school
Adrian - Around 50-75(Possibly not including the amp) dollars total. Where do you live?? It would be great to have some help installing it, but I think you live a bit far from me, heh. HOw much for the sub?vtuning - heh a bit over my price, I don't want to get too crazy price wise, because I still have all my stock speakers, I just want some bass but nothing glass shattering heh. -Joe
Jamaica2G
Well I wanted $80 for the sub, but I would meet you at the $75... I thought you would have wanted to spend about $200. But if thats "crazy price wise" then you definately won't want my sub. You have to give it a good amount of power which means more money for the amp.I'm presently in Gainesville, and I wont be driving home until December 10th or so.I'm sure if you came down to south florida, Joseph would be in on the party as well jejejejeAdrian
fromtheshadows
I bought a dragster 10" speaker with an enclosure on ebay for 22$ with shipping and handling it came out to around 50$ tho. I also picked up an 800watt amp for about 50 bucks on ebay. I did buy a wiring kit though, which ran me about $60 but in hindsight I couldve gotten the wires seperately for much cheaper. Jamaica2G
I HIGHLY doubt that that amp can push even 400wattsbut how does it sound? is it enough for you? cause that's all that matters.Adrian
550
Heh, I have been mulling this over, and it seems there is no exact cheap way to do it. haha. I mean I don't need anything earth shattering or anything, I was thinking a small one channel amp and a 10 or less inch sub. Then I woudl need to get an enclosure too heh.I was also thinking maybe a bazooka bass tube or something, any thoughts on those? The amp that ashman probably got was 800 peak. Which is probably about 150w RMS.
