2000 S80 Climate Controls Dead

I have a 2000 S80 and today none of the Climate Control system works (no lights or function)

and none of the Center Console switches are functional (no lights or function). And to top it off,

none of the lights that indicate which gear you are in (on the floor) work.

Everything else on the car works and lights up fine (Dash Lights & Function, Radio,

Cruise, Directionals, Drivers seat adjustment, Windows, Seats, Wipers, Lights)

I have checked all of the fuses in the passenger compartment for the Blower Motor and anything else that seems relevant but nothing stands out.

Seems to me that it's a fuse but I cannot locate a bad one..

Thanks in advance..

Your climate control module has gone kaput... it happened in my 02 s60 as well and my buddies 99 s80. get the part off of ebay ( s80 is usually about $40 shipped). dont even talk to the stealership, they will want at least 700 for the part and another couple hundred for programming. and if for some reason it isnt plug and play you might be able to find a local shop that can do a cheap programing job for you. good luck

sorry: and there really isnt a way to test it as far as i know. its a fairly common failure but one on ebay from LKQ auto parts should do the. i ordered mine from them a week ago and im replacing it the second it arrives. warm days are no good without A/C
