leurven
Hey guys, I have a 98 Euro instrument cluster that has been proven to work in the 98 S/V/C/70s. I have even heard of it working a 94-97 850.This does not include the trip computer module that goes on the top but you should be able to take the one you have and add it or find one from a junk yard. Please note that one of the mounting tabs is partly broken. This should not affect installation. Please note that when I last had these and was selling them they were going for $150. The price below reflects the tab damage and the lack of trip computer.Price with CONUS shipping: $100.

mune237
The module that goes on top is the ABS computer, Just an FYIGaryI've heard it has nothing to do with the brakes, but is made of ABS plastic.I've got one that I've been meaning to dissect, whenever I find one of those round tuitsEDIT: per "Hanks" it's an ABS plastic box for the receiver, for the remote locking system

Yellow95
Yeah but european gas has more ethanol so your car wont run right or will possibly burn valves with this cluster.Gary

T5power
is the ABS box car specific or speedo specific? as in do you need to have the ABS box stay with the cluster or could you just use the one that's already in your car... or either

matt b
In that case, and to help a quicker sale: I have a spare receiver that was removed from a 98 cluster that I will send to the buyer, for the cost of shipping, if interested.
leurven
The module that goes on top is the ABS computer, Just an FYIGary It is actually for the trip computer. It has a cable that connects it to the cluster. The ABS computer is in the engine bay.Yeah but european gas has more ethanol so your car wont run right or will possibly burn valves with this cluster. GaryIt's just reading the level of fuel and displaying it on the gauge. It has nothing to do with fuel delivery. Full on the gauge is still full. Half is still half, and I can guarantee you that when it reads empty you should be thinking of filling your tank!QUOTE (matt b @ Apr 29 2009, 07:52 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>In that case, and to help a quicker sale: I have a spare receiver that was removed from a 98 cluster that I will send to the buyer, for the cost of shipping, if interested. That'd be awesome! Thanks Matt!!! Let me know what it costs you for shipping if it gets to that.
Yellow95
False X 2I see that you have been taking post lessons from Greg (disagree but give no valuable info). :)and my second post was in jest. gotboost
I've got a '98 UK spec R cluster in my car and love it. Have yet to tap out that 160mph speedo. Keep in mind guys that with this cluster the gallons are imperial gallons, which are larger than the standard U.S. gallons. So your trip computer will show that you are getting amazing gas mileage, but isn't that helpful.
