T5wagon1717
Hey.I got a 50% off coupon from Continental/General and I was wondering which set I should get.Contiextremecontact or General Exclaim UHP??I'm really leaning towards the exclaims because they are $270 mounted and everything and I get a $50 prepaid credit card.Anyway, any feedback on these tires would be greatly appreciated.Teal
--Aaron--
I've read plenty of success stories from those running the Exclaims....they seem to be a good choice as many choose to run them.
Jackbr02
ContiExtreme Contact!!!!!! What great tires, I am on my second set, good for all seasons, I put them on when I took my car to Germany, they do fine, all the way up to 153mph (and higher I would guess, but can't claim to have done it)They are great tires... DON'T SKIMP ON TIRES!!!!!!!!!
TurboS60
Contis are more of an all season tire whereas the Exclaims are meant strictly for summer use. Both good tires.
(n)A-GAME
Contis are more of an all season tire whereas the Exclaims are meant strictly for summer use. Both good tires.Beat me to it. If it snows by you the Generals are only good for summer. I had a very, um, interesting ride on them in an early November snowfall before I put the snows on. But the Generals overall are a fantastic tire, the tread design looks great and for the money they can't be beat. My only complaint is that they're a bit loud on the highway. Jackbr02
honestly i'd go with whatever is cheaperSeriously? You want to save a couple bucks on tires? How about saving by siphoning gas or maybe a junkyard timing belt? You get what you pay for!
