It's really hard to know exactly what your results will be after surgery and when the patient has massive amounts of swelling. Boost3237 Posted May 6, 2009 Report Share Posted May 6, 2009 From reading... her face will actually get better because the muscles that she lost need to grow back, and once that happens she will get more surgeries to pull back and shape the skin on her face. They didn't do it now because if her body rejects the new skin it would have been a waste. Overall having that much of your face blown off by a gun looks a bit worse IMO. She can now eat and chew food where she wasnt able to with the disfigurement. Either way, it made a huge difference and though not perfect she will have close to a decently normal life now. I believe her husband only got 7 or 8 years, I dont feel like looking for it right now to confirm. Wasn't this jack ALL GLORY TO THE HYPNOTOAD trying to kill himself and the bullet also hit his wife?
