bmx9854 Posted May 8, 2009 Report Share Posted May 8, 2009 I feel left out amongst my VW/audi friends not having that blue anit glare sideview mirror glass. I know volvo had it on some 240's, why'd they stop? Anyone ever switch out the glass from another car into an 850/x70 side view mirror? Or maybe some kind of anti glare tint or film is available? z31jaime Posted May 8, 2009 Report Share Posted May 8, 2009 the blue is supposed to be anti glare...so if the sun is behind you it dont blind you if it catches in your mirror......guess lights work the same. i have super dark tints so never needed it.
