Mousiee Posted May 10, 2009 Report Share Posted May 10, 2009 I just bought a 1996 Volvo 850 GLT Wagon 2.4L (N/A) 5 speed that has an unusual problem (to me anyway).The problem I'm having with my car is every time I shift and hit the gas the rpm's climb but the car does not accelerate w/ it. It's like the engine can't keep up w/ the rpm's. The rpm's shoot up and then drop back down again. This issue persist but I do not have a check engine light.Tomorrow I'll go to Advanced Auto to get it scanned to see if any codes are stored, but I wanted to know if any other members had this problem.ThanksMousiee Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
