Power Window Motor

I have a bad power window motor in the right rear door - when I supply power directly to the motor it won't budge in either direction. As I shop for replacements, I see that the motor is available used, but it comes with a whole regulator assembly new. Can the motor be replaced without changing the whole window regulator? Is there any special alignment that needs to be done?

No alignment needed. PM sent for offer.

Sorry to hijack, but I have a power window annoyance. My driver's side is a little sluggish. What is a good way to get them going better. I replaced the window rubbers along the base of the window last year.

You can replace just the window motor, but it is a pain compared to swapping the whole assembly including the arm assembly. It is all riveted together. One thing to check is the condition of the green plastic rollers where the arms are held onto the lower edge of the window glass. Most parts sites call your attention to these, and say that they are often the cause of failures that otherwise appear to be a bad motor. You can see them after you pull off the interior panel, then look up inside with a light (unless you can drop the window somewhat to where the rollers are aligned with holes in the door). If you need a motor, buy the rollers too, as they are easily broken when you pull out the old assembly.
