Guest Martijn
Does anybody have instructions on how to remove the ABS module on my 2004 Volvo S60? I am able to remove the torx screws but am unable to loosed the connection to the fuse box. Anybody have manual? Photo instructions? What is the best place to have it rebuilt? Young Burnsy
Are you positive it is the ABS control unit and not one of the wheel sensors?
Martijn
Are you positive it is the ABS control unit and not one of the wheel sensors? Both the dealer as well as a local Volvo-specialist told me it was the module after reading the codes. How much more sure can I be?

Young Burnsy
Any suggestions? If the dealer read the code I'd assume they would be correct. I think my issue was the fact that I went to the indy who didn't have the diag tools that a dealer would. This was before I really knew anything about my car. PsychoWagon
you're whole cluster goes completely dead or just a certain part of the cluster?
Martijn
Most of the times it's the Brake failure, warning. Once in a while it's the other messages, usually in addition to the brake failure messageWould a rebuilt one like this one (see link) from Programa work? Would it need reprogramming?http://tinyurl.com/pdunjq
