Does anybody have instructions on how to remove the ABS module on my 2004 Volvo S60? I am able to remove the torx screws but am unable to loosed the connection to the fuse box. Anybody have manual? Photo instructions? What is the best place to have it rebuilt?

Both the dealer as well as a local Volvo-specialist told me it was the module after reading the codes. How much more sure can I be?

No good, I just wanted to make sure. Because I had my ABS unit replaced when it ended up being one of the wheel sensors.

Any suggestions?

If the dealer read the code I'd assume they would be correct. I think my issue was the fact that I went to the indy who didn't have the diag tools that a dealer would. This was before I really knew anything about my car.

i dont know if they can, as the 04 is a computer module (no longer abs module, BCM now)

it's an expensive little bugger... why are they calling the bcm, what issues were u having

ABS, Brake light on with "Brake Failure, Stop Safely" warning most of the time. Trip meter goes blank once in a while. Cruise control switches off. Resets sometimes after driving for a while and restarting the engine, but comes messages/lights come back after sitting idle for while.
