jgma
replaced rotors, pads, then calipers on the front of 2000 s80 t6. bled brakes all around with power bleeder, no air from calipers but pedal is soft and depresses too far, the front brakes don't appear to be doing much of anything as rust is beginning to build up on the rotors. any other possible problem areas, master cylinder?, abs?.... thanks for help, John

rbodor3
Yes, the brakes stop the car well but it appears that the rear brakes are doing most of the stoppingwhat I meant was when you pump your brakes while braking, does it build up the pressure better? Try pumping when you brake and if it suddenly builds up braking pressure then it's just air in the lines. Know you said you bled them but this happens sometimes, still. MrWinkey
Try taking the car out an getting the brakes hot to see if they work? Did you use OEM pads and rotors. Was the problem there before the brake work?
