Tatnic
I have a 2001 S-80 non turbo. The temperature gage will go up towards the red area and that can be brought back down by turning the heater on. The upper radiator hose is hot and the lower radiator hose is not, while the engine is up ito normal temperature. The cooling fan does come on but with the engine hot it feels like it is pulling cool air through the radiator. Doesn't appear that I am getting any hot water flow through the radiator. Does this sound like the thermostat? Also it sucked the coolant out of the over flow. Where is the thermostat located on this engine, and how easy is it to replace? Does this sound like a bad thermostat? Thanks
