60t5 Posted May 24, 2009 Report Share Posted May 24, 2009 hi there, just wanted to share my experience on my 2001 volvo s60 T5. It failed me when i was out of town and it is mainly due to steering failure where i couldn't steer to either right or left. After towing back to workshop and the problem was mainly due to steering coupling. Has anyone heard of it??? But thank god i wasn't chasing one of those german marques.... when it happened. According to the mechanic, this normally happened when there is a head on collision. But since i didn't involve in any accident before so this is kind of weird. However, after some thoughts, the reason that i could come out is that i hit a huge pothole few weeks back where the ride went airborne on the left side and that dented the rim.
