Abs & Crank Issues

about 1 in every 10 times I start the car the abs light will go on and not turn off. I'll turn the car off and on again and it will still give me the same issue. In the middle of driving it back to work the light eventually went off. Some loose solders in the ABS module jiggling loose possibly? Afterwards the digital clock resets to "--:--"

What really worries me is twice now in 2 weeks I've gone to crank the car and it won't start, so I turn back to pos 0, and then crank again and it turns on like normal. I suspect this leads back to my fuel pump issue that I'm replacing hopefully next week, possible?

DTC's will be needed to help diagnose this.

If you are having fuel pump issues that can always cause a no start condition, however, if the ABS module isn't coming online with the rest of the high side the other control modules may not be waking up either. Keep in mind all the control modules on the high side (ECM,TCM,BCM(ABS) and CEM must share information in order for the vehicle to start. No only do they verify that they can talk to each other, but they also check to make sure the proper key is in the ignition and they match serial #'s with each other right before startup. This takes place in miliseconds. If any of this info is missing during startup the CEM will prevent the vehicle from starting.
