volflo
i just checked the hose (from intake manif to CBV tin) and found out its perfectly alright and looks brand new. (which it probably is since MR Sweden got them all new)But the line came off on the side of the valve (at the tin) again (for the third time now). and the clamp is new and strong. Anybody have an explanation for that?Would that happen if the coil wasa) too strongb ) brokenor c) the membrane was torn?I think we can exclude c) , can we?Really i have to save my new charger from turbine wear.....and a BOV is again forbidden in TÜVs own Polizei-Staat.

Because the valve’s exhaust port can easily be plumbed back into the car’s air intake, the valve is ideal for Mass Air Flow (MAF) metered cars where venting to atmosphere can create a "rich" air/fuel ratio. The Racing Bypass Valve Type H is CNC machined out of billet aluminum and is specifically designed with high boost applications in mind. volflo
...actually that is a very good idea. i have to find out if its forbidden. HELL, i sometimes hate that. you need a diploma to know what you can do on your car and what s illegal....honestly, a few weeks ago somebody told me that my -NOTE THAT- gauge pod on the a-column is illegal.
volflo
Bracer, i looked at your pics. You seem to have the BOV installed as a NON-recircling set up?And how would you connect the blow off side of the valve to the air intake side again? Would this be also all custom stuff?and for the installation fo the valve itself:Did you weld the valve to the intercooler piping or is it clamped by just inserting a piece of new pipe into the existung intercooler plumbing after having a segment of the orgi pipe cut out? gronberg
volflo, I got the turboxs h-34 and I'm roughting it back into the plastic hose between airbox and turbo. Just going to get a clear hose and a brass fitting that I found at Home Depo, drill a hole in the plastic pipe and screw the fitting in there.Just get a exhaust pipe and weld the little pipe that comes with the BOV on there and then you can either put it like Bracer did or cut the hose infront of the plastic pipe that goes into the intercooler. Will i need some kind of special pressure line for the venting-back?
gronberg
I wouldn't think so. I'm going to use on of the thick clear hoses that I can find at Home Depo.
