Parking Light Wire Isolation

Not sure if this solution was posted yet, but to avoid having the headlights come on with the parking lights when activated by a rem.start/alarm unit, diode isolate the larger gauge white wire at the headlight switch. The band should point away from the switch and attach the parking light wire from the aftermarket unit on the banded side.

The only other solution I found was wiring up some relays, and there was no feedback to see how well it worked. I just used the diode method, and it was incredibly easy to do. Hope this helps!
