Matty Moo
I searched, and couldn't find anything. The rear side glass on a wagon, how does it come out? I couldn't find any type of fasteners, inside or out.
Stormtrooper1
Ok, really, I got nothing. Just trying to be funny. Good Luck.
AlvinL
My guess would be to peel inwards the rubber around the glass while pushing so the glass and rubber comes out together.
a2matt
Haynes manual gives this one 5 wrenches: "Windscreen and other fixed glass-removal and refitting: Special equipment and techniques are needed for successful removal and refitting of the windscreen, rear window and side windows. Have the work carried out by Volvo dealer or a windscreen specialist." Wimps. My hunch is that you've got to do something with that bar which goes across the top of the window. Have you pulled the weatherstripping yet? I'd also bet there is some sort of adhesive involved and you'll need to attack it with a heat gun to loosen it up (while holding on to it with those big suction cups). I hope this is for the deer hit special.

It does nothing to hold the window on and there are no fasteners holding it to the body that I can see inside. I'm thinking it's similar to the windshield, which means I'm not going to bother with it. Probably not worth my time.
