jschaefer7406
Hello all, Just curious to see which actuator is recommended for my 15G swap (2000 S70 AWD). I am leaning toward using the 15G actuator, but is the 13T actuator on the car now better or worse? Also, with only 6-7 psi max, is there any sense trying to source the 300/70 actuator from the 19T? Thanks in advance for any advice, Joe P.S. - I have had some intermittent erratic boost issues with this for about a year now. Sometimes fades @ part throttle, other times it shoots right to 5 and then immediately back to 2, and so on. CBV is new, IPD TCV, all silicone vaccum hoses. This behaviour sort of makes me wonder if maybe the current actuator spring may be weak and allowing the wastegate to leak (is adjusted to 3 psi right now). Thoughts? jschaefer7406
Aaron, Just for the record, the 19T actuator runs $209.41 with my discount at the local dealer. A little better than $300, but still pricey... Joe

thelostartof
Why not talk one of the Vendors here to build and sell ya'll a bracket to use a garret/T3 actuator on a Mitsu setup? They are worlds stronger and cheap as can be. You can even use a 10+ year old stock one off a rwd car and even then it will hold up better than your fancy mitsu actuators. I have been thinking about this as of late and with some new Shop tools coming in we might just be able to build a few if there is any interest

If I do it I want it to be bolt on, although some of the other ones appear to be a bit better.

I had thought about it, but really don't need it for my use. Joe
