xraybob Posted June 15, 2009 Report Share Posted June 15, 2009 I found a sweet '03 XC70 with about 135K well maintained miles on it and a bumper to bumper extended warranty available at an addition cost. Should I be looking for anything in particular on this year and model and have there been any chronic problems that might come up in the near future? Everyone's opinion will be appreciated. I have no problem in getting my hands dirty in repairing things. I already have a '86 240 sedan with 415K, and maintain the '94 850 and '98 S70 that my daughter's drive. Chilled man Posted June 15, 2009 Report Share Posted June 15, 2009 other then the typical tranny issues that plauged the 01 and 02 cars, wich the 03 shouldnt have due to different valve body design . only issue I could see would be the typical awd stuff with a highmilage car/ volvo. but if you can do everything yourself , it would really come down to the money.
