SomeGuy
I just finished putting in a s60r manifold in my 850, but now I am without a heat sheild. Does anyone have the part numbers for the correct heat sheild set up and point me in the right direction for finding them? Its getting warmer around here and dont really want to run it without a heat shield

Does anyone have the part numbers for the correct heat sheild set up and point me in the right direction for finding them? Its getting warmer around here and dont really want to run it without a heat shield I have ran without a shield for 3 years. No issues so far. The right shield would be the one from the S60R. :)
Boost_Junky
It's really not a problem. I've run wihtout a heat sheild for years. I wouldn't worry about it.

prasamin
you can use the stock shield...a little grinding here and there.... i made mine fit, but removed it so it would be easier for me to keep track of things in and around the turbo.... Boglin
hmm, i'd like to see those papers for reference. Sure let me scan my slips and Ill show you first hand. let me ask everyone this have you actualy felt the heat build up that occurs behind the firewall under your dash when you run with no shield, I have and can say that regardless of gains or loss that in itself should be enough to run with a shield.
