Gregg
This summer I kind of got screwed on replacing my rear deck speakers. The shop did not know, or check, to find out that my rear speakers were 8-ohm. I told them I wanted a replacement speaker that would produce as much bass, if not more, as the stock speakers. They sold me and installed Eclipse Point Source 5"x7" which are 4-ohm and of no use to me...plus they produce next to no bass compared with the stock speaker. So I put my old speakers back in the rear deck and have these Eclipse speakers sitting around. They told me if I wanted to switch to a different speaker size or upgrade to a more expensive speaker I can trade these in for what I paid for them. I don't know where else to put speakers though.I have 5 1/4" components in the front doors with the tweeters mounted in the dash and am really happy with those. I have a Nakamichi 4-ch amp sitting at home, waiting to be installed. I was thinking of doing kick panels, per Bing, but these speakers kind of suck for power handling.Should I just try and sell these speakers? Or trade them in and try and use that $$ towards a sub and amp?
