Snabb T5M Posted August 29, 2009 Report Share Posted August 29, 2009 Kristian, just installed my short shift plate, and OMG, what a difference!!! Only have one word to say "YOU DA MAN!!!!!!" Now I have to get used to not throwing the shifter so far when I shift, and I like that I was able to locate the shifter closer to. Your new and improved plate is incredible!!! Very nice job on the redesign!!! Instead of using the 0.2570 drill bit, I used a .25 drill (only one I had) and the fit is very snug, no play in that bolt. I should have a prototype pretty soon : ) then once I know they're ok I'll probably do a small beta test run of them to make sure there are no unforseen problems.
