The Reverend
I just put in my new subs and they are loud enough to rattle something in the overhead lights located behind the rear view mirror. It is a high pitched jingling sound, and it drives me *crazy*. Unfortunately, I do not have the guts to just try and rip the part off, though I am sure it just snaps off, so here I am, at VS.Has anyone else encountered this problem? How was it resolved, or how would I go about resolving it?

(yer right it just snaps off) See if you can actually see anything that's making the noise. If you can't then try holding your hand or a finger against the inner light assembly, (you know how when you press on something the rattling/noise usually stops) That way, it may help you track down what's actually making the noise. I've had real good luck with well placed beads of silicone sealant put where two peieces were rubbing on each other.
The Reverend
Yeah, I have pushed on them and the sound has stopped. I am pretty sure it is the bulbs making all the noise. Anyway, I will work on it today.
