Sully83 Posted August 24, 2009 Report Share Posted August 24, 2009 Hey Auburn, I know i am a bit behind but thought i would put in my two cents. I just changed out my back deck speakers in my 99 S70, and what the stig said is correct, fold seats, remove the sides, you don't actually have to remove the C covers, you can just bend the edge of the deck around, there is only about 1/2" under it anyways, not worth the effort! Then you have 6 clips that you can lift with a flat prying tool...carefully (although they are surprisingly sturdy), then lift the front of the deck and pull it out. If you are going to be doing a lot of work back there, then you can remove the seat belts, just a simple socket removal, otherwise it is not necessary! Best of luck!
