Noahkk19
Whenever the wheel is turned, left or right I hear a small groaning sound like something is getting stressed. ANY clue? I'm getting a new engine mount put in tomorrow, but this sound JUST started appearing today and I'm guessing it has nothing to do with the engine mount. The sound is most noticeable when the car is moving slowly.
Kibim
Not maybe low on power-steering fluid? I know my car makes a horrible noise when the steering fluid is low.

jda2000
grease the steering stops and see if the noise goes away.
jens94850
grease the steering stops and see if the noise goes away.←good point on this one. especially if you just notice the sound as you get close to the locks (extreme left or right). It sounds like your pump may just be laboring...low on fluid, tired pump or rack, aging serpentine belt, or just a more pronounced sound since the weather has changed to the colder. As my 850 has gotten older, the sound has gotten more noticeable...especially at a stop. Try changing the fluid. My p/s still works fine though, and the fluid change took care of most of the laboring sound. Is the sound a suspension groan, or a consistent groan, like the pump may be laboring? kenk
hm... give the ps fluid a flush, not sure where or if there is a drain, you could just siphon out from the top.. could be steering stops, check those, also the pump does the most work when moving slow, since you have to counteract friction from the weight of the car. if you need a new ps pump.... orielly auto parts has a reman one (its a custom order) but even so its like 85 bucks, if they offer it with the pulley get it, i had one heck of time getting mine off. Finally had pep boys do it with an impact wrench and puller, still took the guy over 30 min to do...other than that, its not a bad job at all.
