Front End Issue....

Recommended Posts

Hey people ,

been awhile since I have been posting and working on project midnight(95' Turbo).

I relocated the car to my spot from about 25miles from where it was sitting for about 3 months. Took it on back roads around midnight of course to bring it home. When I first got the car I'm sure I didnt have this issue at first.

When the car is driving , I apply the brakes the car seems to shake really bad. But if I gun the car the shake goes away. I'm thinking it has something to do with the brakes. I guess the caliper sliders were stiff? or maybe the caliper itself is sticking/bad?

what are your thoughts?

There are a few issues to be adressed , but for now im just trying to put the safey issues on the top of the list to do. The windsheild needs to be replaced as well. My fingers are crossed to pass.

Ill give that a try , but first I need to get a new battery as I have been switching it from the wagon.

I think that a new battery , brake pads all around , lubing of the componets will do for now.

Anyone know of a cheap windsheild replacment would be ? like safeglass or what?

ok got a new battery tonight and took midnight out in the back alley ways  i kno its not midnight just yet tho

I did the slamming the brakes thing backwards and forward like crazy. at first I did notice the passenger side would somewhat stick because I would hit the gas right as i let the brakes go and the passnger side let loose and spun like crazy. I tried it a few more times and I havent gotten the sticky caliper again.

im hoping I fixed the problem with the brakes at least. I would need to do a speeding run and see what happens.

I plan to get new pads for all 4 corners just before I bring it in for inspection.

Today I just put a few peices back together in the engine bay , but I plan to take the dash apart again and fix the boost gauge and a burnt bulb.
