coopmcnasty
I am looking to get a low profile, self powered sub for under the passenger seat in my s70. As of now, i am looking at either the infinity basslink. Everything is stock from the factory including the HU.... so would i need to get anything to make the sub work (adapters and such) or is it pretty much plug and play? thanks for all of the help guys

I may be wrong here, but I don't think it will fit under a seat.

TaskMule
Hm. Why under the seat? For the whumpah-whumpa boom-boom in the butt, of course.

Looking at the same unit. For my Hu803, I'm under the impression that I would need a specific harness from the D-pillar speakers and a software update for the head unit... Am I in the left field ? How did you hook it up?

Not sure about the 803, I tapped into the rear door speakers, and used the included wires for the inputs to the basslink. It's an SC816, all stock. Nothing fancy or complicated, I just wanted to fill the bottom end out. The thing puts out so much bottom, I barely have it on.
AverageVolvo
many have gone the route of placing the Subwoofer in the spare tire well, But you will rely on 2 cans of fix a flat as your spare tire.

Or you can be ultra stealthy and maintain the spare(in its org. factory location) at the same time!
