VolvoRine Posted August 10, 2009 Report Share Posted August 10, 2009 Hello guys, I have an 1996 850R with the sotck keyless remote control that comes with the car, however I want to upgrade to a remote starter, to be more specific a Viper 5901 http://viper.com/P-5702V/Viper+5901+Responder+Lc3+Supercode+Sst+2-way+Security+And+Remote+Start+System What do I need to know before buying, any threats whatsoever, any Bypass needed?? That is a great find. Well done. Funny tho, I went and got 3 quotes for an autostart/alarm install. One was bestbuy (would NEVER do it, just wanted to see if they had any chops), and two high end highly recommended indie shops.
