Ozark Lee
While I have not yet yanked a transmission to do the RMS the el-cheapo seal tool from Harbor Freight worked great when I replaced the seals on the axle shafts on the transmission. As I recall the kit was under $10.00. ...Lee
TryingBe
Don't really need a special tool to install the rear main seal. Clean the carbon deposit off the housing and crank, lube the seal and tap it in place, lightly.
atefitty
Thanks for your suggestions. The last thing I want is a damaged seal after all that work.
