stick70
I have 5000K w/ 3000K fogs....I had 6000k and like the white in the 5K better. They work great with the jewels and I'm not sure who got the idea HIDs and jewels don't mix.......if you put jewel lenses on regular housings....no that sucks for everyone on the road. +1, i have 5ks in my jewels as well. There is just a hint of blue in the 5k, but mostly white.
850 LongBeach
Lumens=usable light output. Edit: those figures are not exact, everyone posts different info. But as you can see, 4300k is the brightest, which is why every OEM HID manufacturer uses 4300k bulbs. When you increase the bulb temperature (Kelvin) after 4300k, you are just losing lumens. My HID's are so much brighter than my stock bulbs, even aftermarket stock bulbs :/
