Saab 93 Vigen

There's a blue '99 Saab 93 Viggen for sale locally for $6k. 96k miles, 5spd, one owner, garage kept, and dealer maintained. I went for a test drive in it today and the car still has a lot of kick and is in amazing condition. It has the deep blue exterior, no dings or damage, and the blue/black interior with some very sleek and tasteful carbon inserts for the steering wheel and door handles. The leather on the seats has no cracks and the seats are very comfortable. I have been in the market for a new car anyway.

thoughts?

Heres a few pics for those of you who don't know what it is

the viggen is their version of the R

fun cars, handle better than 850's

when both are mildly modded the 850 is faster...by a decent amount too

better get used to using the word cockpit more often

whats mild? I had a friend with a gt28rs on his and we were dead even when I had my 19t auto 850. The 19t 5spd 850 pulled away from him though...

me, tune, mbc, cat back

him, tune, mbc, turboback, FMIC

50 pull was about 3 lengths, 70 was closer, 30 pull was a pretty good raping

this was a few yrs back

gotchya.. yes in that case I agree, 850's are good in a straight line. But find someone who can tune a saab real nice and they will be equal. The saab 93 I rode in did feel better through turns. They really are good cars.
