Wrapping Parts In Material Other Than Cf?

dont see why not... i would think the only difficulty would be making sure it was completely soaked in whatever resin/epoxy you are using so that there are no air bubbles.

this is an interesting idea, especially for the X70 interior trim panels. the wood ones are plastic with a very thin wood veneer on the surface, so if you pulled off the wood and then replaced it with a fabric and resin of some sort and trimmed the edges you could have yourself some pretty cool interior trim.

forgot to mention, this is gonna be for mirror covers, some interior bits, and engine accents, on a dark grey metallic (not sure of volvos exact color code/name) 850 sedan.

Way to be original

but of course. lol

eventually, if i can get a wide enough bolt of material, i'm gonna see about doing it to a hood, as well.. but definitely gonna be the TB cover, spark plug cover, interior side view mirror covers (the triangular bit on the doors), and possibly rear view mirror cover.. if i can get it seperate from the glass.
