Gage
Ok so here is the run down on My nonturbo to turbo swap Car: 1994 855 3ecu setup Motor: From a 1996 854 Turbo 2ecu setup Wiring and Fusebox : 1995 854 N/a 2ecu setup When i first got the wagon it was a N/A Auto with a bad trans, Got a 5speed to swap in all went well everything worked then i did my turbo swap the problem i ran in to was that the n/a ecu plugs were the Big style and the turbo ones are small like this now how do i fix this?? i have no other way but to swap out ALL the wiring from the ecu box all the way to the inside of the car to the dash ! No big deal the fuse box unplugs from the dash any way So i pull it all from the 96 and go to put it in the 94 Gasp what the hell another problem the dash plugs are efing different SON OF A B@#$% Like So So i find a 95 with the same plugs as the 94 and put them in . Cheer the car starts now on to finish putting it together...... Now for the first Drive AHHHHH shifts fine, sounds good and strong, all the gauges..... WAIT A SECOND My Speedo dont work Hmmmmmmm ok i have 3 other clusters ill just swap it out 1 hmm nothing 2 nothing 3 nothing WTF SO now im at this point befor i put the turbo in the speedo worked with nothing plugged in to the trans so i start looking at the harness again and find the 94 harness had no plug on the trans and now the 95 harness has this plug So what do you think i should hook this plugg up to the trans wich has a wheel sensor type plug or the DR wheel sensor In short if you are planing on doing a N/a 2 Turbo swap do it in a 96 or newer or make sure you have a FULL 94 Turbo Donor Car
