yangotang
Nice work, everything operate alright? I tested it with a cig lighter adapter I have, and the DC-DC inverter and LCD work flawlessly. I haven't wired up speakers yet or finished the bezel. I have to still wire the install. Should be done in about 2 weeks or so.

yangotang
Got most of the wiring figured out today. I ended up dissecting the stock AMP cable (which goes to the underseat amplifier) to suit my needs. I've decided i'm gonna put a junction box right beneath the passenger seat where the stock passenger amp sits, then run wires from the rear to this box. Here's today's progress:
yangotang
initial power on and function test was this morning. all works great! now i just have to clean up some wiring and figure out the auto-on mechanism for the LCD.
scandalo
Will you have USB ports on your dash? The main reason I would do this is for ECU communication. Having a program as a set of gauges would help tuning and would negate the need for a laptop on your passenger seat as well as a set of expensive gauges. I've got a powered 4-port USB 2.0 hub directly underneath the seat that has an iPod Cable as well as a usb female cable. I'm planning to bring these two cables to the inside of the arm rest pocket. Moved a few things around and got the audio setup finalized! Bezel work starts now...
