V50 Radio Lock-Up

Ever since I got my '05 V50 T5 with Premium Sound, I have had issues with the radio locking-up (freezing). Most times when playing the radio, turn the key off, come back a few minutes later and turn the key on, the radio will play until I try to change stations. At this point there is no sound and it locks-up until I power cycle it a few times. If I turn the radio off before I turn the key off, it is fine.

Volvo has reloaded the software a few times and replaced the Infotainment Control Module (ICM). It still has the same problem and service is at a loss to figure it out. Any ideas?

Given that they already replaced the ICM, it seems to be that the only thing left is the AM/FM Module (AFM). Yes, this system is very modular and interconnected by fiber-optics.
