Guest jab
I have been dealing with an OBDII code of P0106 for a few years. The scanner shows this as a manifold absolute pressure/Baro sensor out of range. I just changed the manifold pressure sensor and it is still throwing the P0106 code. Does an 03 non-turbo V70 have a baro sensor and if so where is it? There was some previous discussion that earlier cars had a sensor on the right frame rail with a purple connector, but I can not find any such sensor there. A new symptom has started showing up this summer, but not sure if it is related - a low idle. I tried cleaning the injectors and while it does run better, it still has the low idle. Dealer thought that maybe the O2 sensor should be changed. It has 135000 miles. Any thoughts? Could this be part of the same P0106 issue? jab
Also, the P0106 only happens when driving with a steady thottle position for a couple minutes between 1500 and 2500 rpms. So I am now also wondering if it may be something with the throtte control and that may also be causing the low idle? Joe
Crito
According to VADIS: P0106 = ECM-140A = MAP sensor, faulty signal Doesn't show anything called a baro sensor.
MrWinkey
So that's a Vadis picture? I love where it points to the sensor location!
Crito
So that's a Vadis picture? No, I drew it from memory. :P
