spudmab Posted September 3, 2009 Report Share Posted September 3, 2009 I keep losing my radio I have an 850 estate P reg 2.5 20V I have made a DIN to RCA adapter cable and I have run a set of RCA cables down the right hand side of the car alone with a remote turn on cable, I have run the power cable down the left hand side of the car, Right the problem is when I plug the DIN cable in to the radio I lose the signal from the aerial, I have run an extra earth from the DIN earth cable to the radio to try and see if that helps but no real difference, I have also wired a jack plug into the back of the radio to allow for an mp3/ipod this works fine with the DIN cable plugged in, Any ideas as I’m running out of ideas Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
spudmab Posted September 8, 2009 Author Report Share Posted September 8, 2009 Well it seems like the radio problem has gone, as I have swopped my amp for a new one and now it seems ok, the only other problem is the engine noise I get through the speakers as I drive, Does anyone know if I can fit a suppressor or anything else that would stop this interference?
