thewhiteguy1 Posted September 4, 2009 Report Share Posted September 4, 2009 okay. so i put one of these in dad's benz as a christmas present. it was working great, then it started saying ipod disconnected when it was connected and would keep restarting the controller and screen while driving and listening to music. he called harmon kardon they said send it in for service. but i got if off ebay so it wasn't purchased from a dealer. which is all good. then i buy a complete other drive+play to put back in dad's car, plug it all in just to see if it works.....same message about ipod being disconnected. but its stupid, because we can hear the music coming from the speakers through the drive+play but its still says ipod disconnected. does anyone know anything about these? or did i just get screwed on ebay lol? I thought they wern't compatible (won't charge and flash the not compatible message)did you switch the entire set up with your "new" ebay one? or just the brain? it could be your connection cord is bad...
