AnthonyR
Well, while I figure out why my transmission refuses to engage in teh 850 I figured I needed a second car/beater. So today I picked up the second member of my Volvo family, a 1987 745gle. Pretty good condition, cloth, silver, new nokian tires. Only problem with it is cracked heater core (heard those are a b!tch to replace) but the car was only $300 so I figured not too bad a deal for a winter beater. The paint is pretty flawless except for the tailgate (it's bubbled a little) Anyways, I'm about to dive into the world of RWD. First on the list, heated seats and heater core as winter is well on it's way here. Anyways, pics to come, just thought I would share

nothing but turbo
actually, you're in luck (so to speak): 740s aren't that bad as the 760s - trust me, i just exchanged the core in my '89 765.do you have a chilton's manual? this book is pretty starightforward regarding the procedure.
